Sabot Rifle Accuracy

I was having trouble with accuracy in a sabot rifle, a friend {Ray Robson} suggested I try a felt wad over the powder,under the sabot, the pics tell the tale the sabot on the left had 130 gr Blk Horn 209 {volume} no wad, the right 160 gr. + wad
